Has anyone ever heard of Zentangling?

Well to sum Zentangling up its a type of doodling that is based in America. Zentangle  or doodling, can be a self-help art therapy practice. It can help you to enhance  your

relaxation  when you mind is busy thinking of others things; it can focus your mind and, for a short time  it can take away from the distractions of the world around you. Its great therefore if you have depression or anxiety problems; chronic pain or other illness that needs your brain to take a different pathway to calm things down.



It’s spontaneous, so there is no need to have any previous drawing experience. It’s your         moment, your time to fill, so there are no pre-planned outcomes or mistakes. Just your         imagination taking control to turn off the outside world and the pressures that you may have for a short while to help you recharge. Whilst the result is unexpected it is achievable, liberating and relaxing.


All you need is a pen and a piece of paper to learn how to Zentangle doodle, hear are some basic steps.
